Benue B4 Now" by Malex Betaboi featuring Meddy, Star Sali, Lady Pesh, Rapizo, AJ Natives, and Cupa Stonce is a heartfelt reflection on the past and present realities of Benue. The song paints a vivid picture of a once-thriving land, now overshadowed by fear and insecurity. It mourns the displacement of farmers who have been forced into Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps, following violent attacks, killings, and acts of terror.
The lyrics shed light on the devastating impact of conflicts, particularly the ravages caused by armed groups, which have led to tragic losses—farmers being driven from their land, children losing their lives, and women enduring unspeakable suffering. The artists use their voices to amplify the cries of the affected communities, calling for awareness and action.
